Oil lamps have a significant role in the Hindu religion and are found both at home and in Hindu temples.
Single wick lamps, such as this, are commonly used for puja (worship) in the family home. Every morning these lamps are lit using ghee, or oil, and a cotton wick, in the belief that the illumination from the lamp removes darkness and ignorance and in burning upwards the light reflects the attainment of knowledge.
These peacock shaped diyas are large and can hold enough oil(usually ghee) to keep the wick burning for several hours. Made in brass,these diyas are durable and will likely last for ever. After every puja or aarti, just remove the burnt oil and wick remains, wash it with water, and it is ready for reuse.

We follow a no return, no refund policy for all items.
- Refunds/returns are accepted only if:
- Product is damaged (video/photo proof required within 24 hours of delivery).
- Product is incorrect or not as per order.
- Product has a genuine manufacturing defect (not handmade imperfections).
- Handmade & hand-painted items may have natural imperfections — these are not defects.
- Report eligible issues within 24 hours of delivery.
- Refunds are processed in 7–8 working days (10–14 if inspection is needed).
