It all started 40 years back when our founder and owner, Mr. Anil Mehta developed a passion for paintings. Surrounded by the rich heritage of Jaipur and spectacular palaces, he soon found himself drawn towards the hand made art. He began collecting work of many talented artists and showcasing his art gallery to art lovers!

As his understanding in art grew, he got drawn towards many other traditional Indian art techniques that are used to make hand crafted items. Working closely with local artisans, he laid the foundation of Jeypore Souvenirs in year 2010.

Today, helmed by his son, Mr. Anshul Mehta, Jeypore Souvenirs aims to showcase beautiful hand crafted items that reflect the rich culture of not just Rajasthan but India in general.

Many practitioners of these crafts have been doing these crafts for several generations and are now fear that this may be the last surviving generation for these crafts. Our objective is to preserve and protect the skills and knowledge of traditional craft in a way so that it also complements the contemporary décor. 

And thus, you would find bold colors, contemporary shapes intertwined in our designs.
