This single bird sculpture is hand-carved from deep blue sodalite stone, prized for its rich navy tones and natural veining. The surface is polished while retaining delicate hand-carved feather lines, giving the bird a realistic, textured appearance. Its beak is carved from translucent pale blue chalcedony, creating a soft contrast against the darker body, while a small polished red stone eye adds a lifelike focal point.

The bird is mounted on a natural quartz geode base, left raw so its crystal formation stays fully visible beneath the calm, attentive pose above.

As with all natural stone pieces, gentle variation in color and pattern is normal and part of what makes each sculpture one of a kind — a thoughtful accent for a shelf, console, or meditation corner.
